Short Information: Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee has released the admit card for JEE Advanced 2026. Candidates who successfully completed registration can now download their admit card from the official website. The examination will be conducted on 17 May 2026 for admission into B.Tech, B.S, Integrated M.Tech, Dual Degree, and other undergraduate programs in IITs across India.

Important Dates

  • Admit Card Available: 11 May 2026 to 17 May 2026
  • Final Exam Date: 17 May 2026 (Sunday)
  • Candidate Responses Display: 21 May 2026
  • Provisional Answer Key: 25 May 2026
  • Final Result Declaration: 01 June 2026

Application Fee

  • SC/ ST/ PwD/ All Female : Rs.1600/-
  • All Other Candidates : Rs.3200/-

Eligibility Criteria: Who Can Appear?

To get the JEE Advanced Admit Card 2026, you must have already cleared the initial hurdles. There are 5 main criteria you should have met:

  1. Performance in JEE Main: You should be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates in the B.E./B.Tech paper of JEE (Main) 2026.
  2. Age Limit: You should be born on or after October 1, 2001 (SC, ST, and PwD candidates have a 5-year relaxation).
  3. Attempts: You can only attempt this exam twice in two consecutive years.
  4. Class XII Status: You should have appeared for your boards for the first time in either 2025 or 2026.
  5. IIT Admission History: You should never have been admitted to an IIT before.

JEE Advanced Exam Pattern: Paper 1 and Paper 2

  • Two Papers: You must appear for both Paper 1 and Paper 2. If you skip any one, you will not be ranked.
  • Duration: Each paper is for 3 hours. (PwD candidates get 4 hours).
  • Subjects: Both papers have three sections: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • Marking: Be careful! There might be negative marks for wrong answers.

How to Download JEE Advanced Admit Card 2026

  1. Visit the official website of IIT Roorkee at jeeadv.ac.in.
  2. Look for the link that says “Download JEE Advanced Admit Card 2026“.
  3. Click on the link and a login window will open.
  4. Enter your Registration Number, Date of Birth, and your registered Mobile Number.
  5. Fill in the captcha or solve the small math puzzle shown.
  6. Click on the “Login” button.
  7. Your hall ticket will appear on the screen. Check your name, photo, and center address carefully.
  8. Download the PDF and take a color printout for the exam day.

Important Instructions for Exam Day

When you go for the exam on 17th May, remember to carry a printed copy of your admit card and a valid photo ID.
